Intermediate Theory - Part II

Using The Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler, by Heinz and Rowena Ansbacher, as a basic text, the reading is supplemented by full articles by Adler, and vivid graphics on selected topics. All of his theoretical, philosophical, and therapeutic constructs are examined in depth. (Continuation of course DT102A - Part I.)


Objective: To develop a deeper and detailed insight into Adler's theory of psychopathology and optimal development.
Reading: Selected chapters from published books, journal articles, and unpublished lectures by Alfred Adler, Alexander Mueller, and Lydia Sicher.
Audio: Classical Adlerian Theory & Practice (Part II), a series of audio taped seminars presented by Henry Stein, offering a combination of lecture, questions, and group discussion. (Fifteen hours)
