Individual Study-Analysis AppointmentsTo allow for sufficient preparation and debriefing, an hour of study-analysis by telephone or Skype should be scheduled for the week before the workshop, and an hour of study-analysis by telephone or Skype should be scheduled for the week after the workshop. Dr. Stein is a Classical Adlerian psychotherapist, training analyst, Director of the Alfred Adler Institute of Northwestern Washington, and Co-Director of the Alfred Adler Institute of San Francisco. He studied with Sophia de Vries and Anthony Bruck, who were trained by Alfred Adler. For over thirty years, he has been training psychotherapists in an approach based on the original teachings and therapeutic style of Alfred Adler, as well as the clinical and philosophical writings of other Classical Adlerians. His own contributions to Classical Adlerian clinical practice include a comprehensive adaptation of the Socratic method and a thorough exposition of the twelve stages of psychotherapy. He is the editor of the The Collected Clinical Works of Alfred Adler; and the author of CADP: Volume I: Theory and Practice: A Socratic Approach to Democratice Living, and CADP: Volume II: Creative Case Analysis: Discovering the Fictional Final Goal and the Counter-Fiction That Hides It.
